Well the official statement by Amazon on its decision to remove adult titles from its sales ranking was because of “in consideration of our entire customer base”.

But Amazon now has a turn-around on their statement, now they’re saying a glitch had occurred in its sales ranking feature that was in the process of being fixed.

Which version am I to believe eh? The spokesperson also added that there was no new adult policy.

The de-ranking caused an online uproar, where petitions were started, anti-Amazon logos created to support such groups and even Amazon execs flooded with phone calls and faxes.
