Facebook holocaust hate groups

That’s the thing with technology and social sites. It has its good points, but it also gives an opportunity for a rallying media platform for such hate groups.

Well two of such hate groups of holocaust related was started on FaceBook. Of course it got the attention of FaceBook, and the group page got removed.

The hate group is all about the groups dedication to Holocaust denial, which is absurd of course.

Facebook spokesman Barry Schnitt said, “The group description didn’t promote hate but the members were beginning to use it as a forum to promote hate through their wall posts. We are monitoring these groups and if the discussion among members degrades to the point of promoting hate or violence, despite whatever disclaimer the group description provides, we will take them down. This has happened in the past, especially when controversial groups are publicized.”

In fact Holocaust denial is illegal in some of the countries, and there’s still three other Holocaust denial groups, however, remain on FaceBook.
