The Japanese electronics giant has jumped onto the popular netbook bandwagon.
It will be launched starting in August and it will cost you $500 in the U.S. and 60,000 yen ($630) in Japan.
This netbook is not to be mistaken with Sony’s recent launch of its Sony VAIO W series, a similar product, but has slightly higher specifications and software.
Sony VAIO W series was primarily aimed at a young audience to create a new market for VAIO.
The product will mainly be used at home for browsing, sharing photos online, downloading music and online networking.
I’ll bring more news of Sony’s netbook as and when more info are released.
