United Kingdom users of YouTube won’t be able to have most access to music videos … for now. It seems that these music video copyright holders and YouTube owner Google is still in-talks over the artists, labels and writers compensation. With the negotiations at hand and the latest being that that talks broke down between British Performing Rights Society (PRS) and Google, YouTube has denied access to the music videos. YouTube official statement was, “YouTube is blocking premium music videos as a result, starting Monday. We assume one can use a proxy server to get around the blockade, but for the majority of users, this means no major label music videos on YouTube.” Bummer eh …
