
Acer is giving other desktop makers a run for their money, as they have upgraded their line of desktops.
The Aspire M5800, M3800, and X3810 consumer desktops, now comes with widescreen LCD monitor and redesigned look to it.
Acer H235H display was added to the desktop bundle, if stand-alone it is priced at $240.
It has a HD-ready 23-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1920 by 1080, 2ms response time, support for VGA/HDMI/DVI with High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP), and two stereo speakers.
The desktops model M5800 is priced at $800. You’ll get a new metallic chassis, keyboard and mouse. On the inside it runs on a 2.66-GHz Intel Core 2 Quad with up to 80GB memory, a 750GB hard disk drive, and integrated Nvidia GT230 with 1.5GB dedicated video memory.
The M3800 is priced at $450. It is equipped with 2.5-GHz Intel Pentium E5200, 4GB of RAM, a 640GB hard drive, and integrated Intel GMA X4500 graphics hardware.
The X3810 is retailed at $530. It will have the same specs of M3800, but the difference is the additional USB port and an eSATA port.
