Western Digital has released the world’s first ever 2TB hard drive.
Called the “Western Digital 2TB Caviar Green”, it is a SATA-based storage on a single, standard 3.5″ hard drive.
It also sports 32MB cache, 7200rpm spindle speed and Serial ATA-300 interface.
Promise to be much environment friendly, quieter and run cooler than previous models.
The 2TB Monster is available from a starting price of $299.
