Last holidays, the sales of PC in the fourth quarter of 2008 was the worst since 2002.

This findings was found by IDC’s Worldwide Quarterly PC Tracker.

PC shipment was down by 0.4 per cent yearly since 2002.

Hewlett-Packard still remains the top PC vendor worldwide, with 19.1 per cent market share, while Dell is a distant behind with 13.2 per cent.

IDC Analyst claims global economic crisis are driving the low sales and says that, “economic fundamentals need to recover before spending on PCs will resume”.
