Woohoo finally Atari made a game out of my favorite movie classic, “Ghostbusters“.
Come on, everybody now, “If there’s something strange in the neighbourhood, who you gonna call? … Ghostbusters!”
Dan Aykroyd below talks about the ‘Ghostbusters’ game due out next week and about the plot of the still-in-development ‘Ghostbusters 3′, which is planned for 2012 debut.
That’s another thing to look forward too, but let’s focus on the game eh. Watch the video below first!
The game will be available in the following game platform, Nintendo DS, PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, and Xbox 360.
The game is based on the Ghostbusters film franchise. Ghostbusters creator Dan Aykroyd has confirmed that the game is essentially Ghostbusters 3.
The plot for the game occurs during Thanksgiving 1991, two years after the events in Ghostbusters II.
During the Gozer exhibit unveiling, there was paranormal activity, and the team was called to investigate.
Along the way, the Ghostbusters encounter several entities from the films, such as the library ghost, Vigo, Slimer, Gozer, and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, as well as many mini bosses that will be encountered throughout each level.
