Super Mario Bros. Wii

New Super Mario Bros. Wii​ is a side-scrolling platform video game being published and developed by Nintendo for the Wii video game console and is the sequel to New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS.

The game was first announced at Nintendo’s press conference at Electronic Entertainment Expo 2009, and is scheduled for release on November 12, 2009, in Australia, November 15, 2009, in North America, November 20, 2009 in Europe, and December 3, 2009 in Japan.

It will be the first game in the Mario main series since Mario Bros. to feature simultaneous multiplayer gameplay, as well as being the first side-scrolling Mario console platformer since Super Mario World on the SNES, and the first Wii title to feature Nintendo’s new ‘Super Guide’ feature.
