Yes the game we once played when we were kids, is celebrating its 25th anniversary. I am a fan of the game, so is Google. If you noticed today’s Google homepage, it had a Tetris for its logo. Tetris the game was created by Russian computer programmer Alexey Pajitnov. He said when he first created the popular video game, he was immediately fixated by the game with its engaging premise. The inspiration behind the creation back in 1984 was actually as a means of distraction from his work at Russia’s Computing Center of the Soviet Academy of Sciences.
For me personally, I think I’ve lost count the number of hours I’ve spent paying my Tetris game device. It’s always in my school backpack, to even visiting the loo. Yer all recall such eh? The history behind Tetris is that is made its gaming debut on IBM computer game, but only when it was released on Nintendo’s Game Boy system in 1989, that it finally became an international sensation. So far, The Tetris Co. has said that more than 35 million copies of the game has been sold to date. Search and Buy ‘Tetris Games’ at Amazon Online
