Yamaha’s Disklavier player grand pianos now is equipped with a 80GB hard drive And why? Well some brain-niac wants to integrate digital electronics and grand piano for faithfully reproducing beautiful piano performances, thus Yamaha Disklavier made its debut These computer-age ‘player’ pianos have reproduce not only ‘live’ acoustic piano concerts, but ensemble music with instrumental and vocal tracks as well. It can even be hooked up to an internet streaming service that sends MIDI files down the pipe to the piano to be played live or stored on the piano’s 80GB hard drive. Do we even need piano players in the future then hur?
