Canon has today announced that its ScanFront 220 and ScanFront 220P network scanners have started to ship out in the US

ScanFront 220 and 220P devices represent Canon’s flagship network scanning solutions complementing the Company’s award-winning DR-Series Scanners.

Both the ScanFront 220 and 220P will be available through authorized Canon dealers and Canon resellers at the suggested retail price of $1,995 and $2,195 respectively.

Scanning at up to 26 pages-per-minute (ppm) or 35 images-per-minute (ipm) letter-sized documents, the ScanFront 220 and 220P capture color, grayscale and black and white images in various file formats including high compression PDF, searchable PDF, TIFF and JPEG.

Network-ready, the ScanFront 220 and 220P models Scan-to -email, -folder, -FTP and -USB memory; and take up less desk space than most competitive models
