Google flagship email service Gmail has rolled out a new option to have a more secure email experience. Previously you need to key-in the https if you want a secure connection.

Bear in mind that on a unsecured network or public wireless, anyone with the know how, can sniff out your activity while using Gmail. That’s a scary thought right

Now just just need to go to the Settings > select “always use https” > Gmail will automatically redirect to the secure version always. No more manual typing on the browser
