It seems that Google query data on people who search for “flu-related” topics online when compared to surveillance system managed by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has emerged a pattern.

This pattern helps public health professionals to better respond to the seasonal epidemics and pandemics of the flu, where influenza estimation can be gathered from the pattern.
