The Internet Safety Technical Task Force which has been given the task to assess out the technologies for protecting children from unwanted contact online.

They have found out that the fears of internet predators online are overblown, especially by the media.

The panel who was led by Harvard, and initiated by 49 State Attorneys General, has led to a more important finding. Cyberbullying.

Yes its a more prevalent, larger problem it seems.

But that doesn’t mean one should ignore and dismiss the threats from predators online.

The study has clearly shown and trying to educate that such responsibility of online issues regarding their child should be on the shoulders of their parents, and not the website or their age verification tools.

Well but we all know, we people like to shift blames and responsibilities, I do hope this study is just a step forward for parents finally stepping in and be IT savvy for the sake of their children.
