Its method of infecting is via Facebook messaging system.

Called the ‘Koobface Computer Virus’, if you receive a strange message with title such as “Check out this new picture you are in!”, be smart not to click on the provided link.

Once redirected to the website if you clicked the link, you’ll be infected.

And now current reports says the virus has the ability to steal credit card numbers from users too.

It’s a viral attack where messages are sent by ‘trusted’ friends with them not knowing they are infected too.
