The Recording Industry Association of America or RIAA will pass the responsibility to deter illegal music sharing over the Internet to Internet Service Providers.

RIAA is turning to the ISPs to combat such users.

Now the protocol is when such user are detected by RIAA, they will notify the ISP.

Then the ISP sents out a notification warning to the user of their illegal action.

If the user does not comply with the changes not to download anymore, it is up to the ISP to suspend their Internet services.

RIAA says they’re fighting a losing battle and I believe the solution to all of these is that digital media needs to be ‘free’ with options of payment.

I wouldn’t mind paying for such if its worth the quality and the price is affordable.
