It seems more and more reports of users in the United States are having 3G reception issues when using Apple’s iPhone 3G. It is not known if its an issue with the phone itself or the network provider AT&T

But experts are saying it is likely the network to be the problem behind this issue, but they’re are also not ruling out the 3G chipset choice that Apple iPhone 3G is using

It could also be down to the ‘holes’ that some hotspots found in 3G availability areas. Well Wired tried to plot a map of the 3G iPhone issue and came out with interesting results
