![]() iPhone 3GS sale hot off the shelves Imagine that! A million iPhone 3GS sold so far. Apple has truly successfully launched a product that’s in demand. The new iPhone 3GS was snapped up by its Apple ‘fanboys’ since they went on sale Friday, June 19, 2009.
The figure of course exceeds Apple’s sales of the iPhone 3GS’s predecessor, the iPhone 3G, during its opening weekend in July, 2008. I reckon the new features which includes the video recording capability, voice control and a built-in compass got more people interested in it. The model is also capable of launching applications faster than the 3G. It sure proved some analysts wrong who had predicted that Apple would sell around 500,000 to 750,000 of the new iPhone 3GS. Did you hear that … it’s the sound of the kaching and Apple having the last laugh and laughing all the way to the bank.
