It seems more ‘problems’ are plaguing the newly released 3G iPhone. Some users have reported seeing yellowish-tinted on their brand new iPhone 3G screens

Well its not really an issue but it seems that Apple have decided to make the new 3G iPhone batch screens “warmer”.

Bob Borchers, in a statement made by Apple’s senior director of iPhone product marketing:

“We moved the white point in order to make (the display feel) more natural.”

The first generation of iPhone has a more blueish screen while the 3G iPhone release has kinda a fluorescent yellow look to it, thus the warm feel as Apple stated

Another reason for the yellow look is that some of the 3G iPhone has an older firmware of 5A345. So if you don’t want the yellow look, just upgrade to the latest 5A347 firmware

I don’t know about you, I would prefer the first gen more cooler look than the new one
