HTC Hero Review

The HTC Hero is the third phone manufactured by the HTC Corporation for the Android platform, as part of the A series. Notably, it is the first phone of that series to feature a 3.5mm audio jack, multi-touch capability and the HTC Sense interface.

The phone was announced on June 24, 2009 in London. It is also the first Android device to support Adobe Flash. It was released in Europe during July of 2009, and is scheduled to be released in Asia late summer with North America to follow later on.

It runs a modified build of Android featuring HTC’s Sense interface. The Hero would be sold at the start of the middle of september in South East Asia and due in Australia before October.

HTC Hero Review

The Hero has been announced to arrive in the US on October 11, 2009 via Sprint, but FCC documents have surfaced to show that there will be a version of the HTC Hero supporting Rogers and AT&T’s bands for 3G.

The is the first phone in the world to feature Sense UI. There has been issues on lag, however a newer firmware would be released to solve the lag coming soon , HTC has confirmed to about the new firmware upgrade coming soon.

HTC has also promised to bring Sense UI to HTC magic(myTouch3G) users too. The Sprint version of the HTC hero is different from those that will be sold in Europe and Asia.
