The Samsung E1107 Crest Solar

The E1107 Crest Solar is Samsung’s first commercially available solar-powered phone.

The candybar phone, unveiled today is targeted at the lower-end phone markets.

With its 800 mAh battery which is solar powered via its solar panel featured on the back case, an hour under the sun provides 5-10 minutes of extra talk-time.

The phone will be available this month, with sales in Southeast and Southwest Asia, Europe and Latin America.

It cost around $59.
