English researchers at University of Bath in England has invented a open-source machine that acts like a three-dimensional printer. It’s a machine that can create 3D replicas of objects like shoes and door handles

Not only that but it can also replicate itself

Named RepRap (short for “replicating rapid-prototyper”) by the scientists, the objective of the project was to build a robot that can produce individual processors and circuit boards so people can build their own computers

And this invention is a stepping stone to having the ability for robots creating its own structural parts

Is it just me being paranoid or does this sounds like the Terminator in the making. I think I’ve seen too many episodes of The Sarah Conner Chronicles, haha
