Talk about longevity. We all know manufacturer make product to be used for a certain period of time only. The logic, either we pay up for new parts or buy another of their product. Well Panasonic is moving beyond that and has rolled out a new commercial plasma TVs that promise ‘longevity’ in terms of usage. The VIERA 1080p plasma line claims to have 100,000 viewing hours before reaching half brightness That means it will only dim after 42 years of using it. This is based on the average user daily TV viewing of around 6.5 hours. But it will set you back by some US$2K however. Considering this TV might outlive you and me all, why not!
